Today is November 11, 2011 (11-11-11) a date and number that is causing much speculation by many and yet is not being given more than a passing thought by others. The most obvious connection, aside from the up-coming movie 11-11-11, is the celebration of Remembrance Day, as the WW1 Armistice which was signed at the 11 hour, on the 11 day of the 11 month. While this is a very significant and memorable time in history to honour, I believe that a few of us are connecting 11-11-11 more with global Spiritual Awakening.
A lot of people know, especially those of you who are reading this, that when you constantly see 111, 1111 or 11:11 that it is a message from Spirit. Doreen Virtue in her book ‘Angel Numbers 101’ gives the meaning for 111 as follows:
“This number brings you the urgent message that your thoughts are manifesting instantly, so keep your mind-set focused upon your desires. Give any fearful thoughts to Heaven/Universe for transmutation”.
In simpler terms people believe they should make a wish when they see this number, which makes perfect sense to me.
So why this date, what is the significance of 11-11-11? Is it the actual date itself or that it is a combination of the number 11 or 111. In respect to it as a date, one connection could be that the Winter Solstice of 21-12-2012 marks the end of the Mayan calendar (the day the world is prophesied to come to an end) which occurs at 11:11 Universal Time. Some people consider today, because of the synchronicity of the numbers, to be a precursor to this event. If the Mayan calendar does prove to be correct, I feel that it would be more of an ‘end of the world’ as we know it. This would give support to the idea of global Spiritual Awakening.
What is the significance of the number 11? Well to some the number 11 is simply a prime number, the day they were born on, or the number when you double down in Black Jack. To others it is important because, in numerology, it is considered a Master number. For some it could be their lucky number. Whatever the number 11 means to you will be what the importance (or not) of today will be based upon.
For me, I believe that today will be the day that global Spiritual Awakening begins. The number 11, 111, 11:11 is a number I see all the time which, to me, is a message from Spirit to keep my thoughts positive, loving and happy. So what do I see happening on this auspicious day? I feel that it is going to bring positive, loving and happy energy for everyone.
