Natural Forces of Nature

Posted in: Art, Nature, Ontario, Travel | 2

Niagara Falls is a well-known and visited area on both the US and Canadian side. The falls are world renown, but to really appreciate how wonderful and powerful they are you really do have to see them up close.

This photograph was taken last summer when I lived in Burlington which is only a 40 minute drive away. The boat in the photograph above is the Maid of the Mist, which is a great way to experience the thunderous roar of 600,000 gallons of water and to feel the mist on your face. You are given a waterproof, hooded poncho-style covering, which is very unflattering I might add, to protect you; however I guarantee you will still get a little wet.

If you are not a fan of boats you can always experience a ‘close-up’ of the falls on foot, the tour is called Journey Behind the Falls.

The image below is my artistic creation of the falls.

The above photograph and artwork are for sale in my gallery as:

Wall Art, Home Décor, Puzzle, Beach Items, Tote Bags, Greeting Card/Stationery, Phone Case, Coffee Mug, Face Mask and Apparel.

The image is adjustable, use all of it or just part of it. Every purchase comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

What a perfect choice for this challenge. I’ve been on the Maid of the Mist boat ride, and it was terrifying and awesome! It really brought home the power of water as a force of nature!
