Endless Skys is all about living life creatively. It doesn’t matter what you do or how you do it…just as long as you are doing it.
I only started creating in an artistic way a few years ago, but I always used to love to create something that I needed….out of something that I already had, repurposing I believe the word is. I didn’t think I had a creative bone in my body, but I enjoyed the challenge and, being a single parent, it was also an economic necessity.
I started Endless Skys to promote my artwork and creative designs, but also to encourage other people to invest time doing what they enjoy. Work and raising a family kept me so busy, that it always felt like there were never enough hours in the day for learning something new.
I know we are creating all the time when we are cooking, gardening, writing, decorating, playing music, the list is endless. But I hope reading this will encourage you to take the time to do the things you enjoy. If you invest time in doing things you love, you may discover you have a real talent for something, which is rewarding in itself.
I finally quit the corporate life in 2013 to focus on my creative side and I have never looked back. I taught myself Photoshop, learned to navigate my way around a DSL camera, and was driven to learn more, purely by my enjoyment of it. The more you practice, the more you learn, not only about what you can do, but more about who you are!
I have had an interest in tarot cards since I was in my early twenties and own a variety of decks. I decided to create my first oracle deck back in 2013 and was incredibly surprised at how easily it came together. Most of the artwork I used for the images, I had already created and was for sale in my gallery. I love remastering historic art so to reinvent an historic tarot deck just made sense to me. Designing tarot decks has been my focus for the past few years, but I do still create a variety of artwork which can be purchased as wall art, home décor, lifestyle items, apparel and accessories.
