When I thought of this week’s theme, on the move, the first thing that sprang to mind was Venice. Venice is a small city, with a population of under 55,000, where you get around by a water bus, water taxi, motor boats and of course the famous Gondolas. Venice is built on 118 small islands that are separated by 150 canals, there are many small bridges the cross the canals for pedestrian use.
For those romantic evenings a ride in a gondola, with or without a singing gondolier, is a fun thing to do.
