It’s Better When You are Toasted!

The Rise and Fall of Sir Toastington

In the quaint village of Crumbshire, nestled between Butterdale and Jam-on-Thames, lived a noble slice of bread named Sir Toastington. He wasn’t just any toast—he was artisanal, golden-browned, lightly buttered and dusted with cinnamon. The villagers revered him not only for his crisp wisdom but also for his uncanny ability to never get soggy, even in the rain.

One morning, Sir Toastington awoke to find his butter missing. Scandal! He summoned his carriage—a brand new shiny two-slice toaster—and rode to the edge of the kingdom to confront his nemesis: Count Croissant, the flakiest villain in all the land.

“Return my butter, you glazed rogue!” Sir Toastington bellowed.

Count Croissant smirked, his layers rustling in the wind. “You’ll never spread justice across this land, Toasty. I’ve already melted it into my evil café au lait!”

A dramatic duel ensued. Spoons clashed, crumbs flew, and jam splattered across the battlefield. Just when all hope seemed lost, Lady Avocado arrived, wielding her mighty fork of freshness. With one swift scoop, she subdued Count Croissant and restored balance to the land.

Sir Toastington, now buttered and victorious, was knighted anew by Queen Omelette. The villagers celebrated with a feast, and Sir Toastington gave a rousing speech:

“Let us never crumble under pressure. And remember—life’s better when you’re toasted.”
