Pennie McCracken, Photographic Artist and Designer

My name is Pennie and I would like to welcome you to Endless Skys. I am delighted that you are here and I hope you find something of interest. New artwork, tarot card designs and products are added regularly.

I was born and raised in England but I emigrated to Canada 30 years ago and currently reside in the London, Ontario region. In April 2013, I finally quit the corporate world to focus on my creative side and to learn more about myself through words and pictures. I honestly had no idea if I had a creative bone in my body, but I knew it was time for change. Now I simply let my life unfold, going with the flow of wherever my new journey is taking me, one day at a time.

I am completely self-taught in all aspects of the art world, from learning to navigate my way around a camera, to the on-going pursuit of developing my skills with all kinds of digital software. I am a professional Digital Artist & Designer and my medium is Paintography (Digital Mixed Media). All my work begins as a photograph, drawing, or compilation of images from which, using a Wacom Pen (digital paint brush) on a Tablet (which replicates on the screen), I create my artwork and designs. Quite surprisingly there are times when the finished artwork bares no resemblance whatsoever to the original image……go figure!

I enjoy bringing history back to life so you will find remastered vintage images and new designs of old tarot decks among my creations. My blog posts are more visual, usually related to a recent piece of art, as I prefer to keep them light-hearted and fun, but I do also write fiction when the mood takes me!

My artwork is available in many different formats i.e. canvas, acrylic, metal, framed, prints, home decor, tech, tote bags, mugs and greeting cards etc. Plus they all come with a 30-day money back guarantee!

If you are a creative or appreciate the arts, I hope you find some of my work interesting or personally resonate with it. I am open to custom requests or to making changes to a current piece to create that perfect image you are looking for.

If you would like to contact me directly about any of the posts, or anything else for that matter, please don’t hesitate to do so as I really enjoy hearing from my readers.

Enjoy your day and I hope you will come back often.

Take care,

Bonjour Pennie

Wow! what a great blog – The whole look and feel of it is so Professional and beautifully composed – just like your pictures. My wife thinks its a better read and far more interesting than Vanity Fair. So l’ve saved a few euros there every month.

Nice name too

Bonjour Dan, how is life in France today? What a lovely thing to say, I truly thank you for your kind words. You blog is interesting too, great layout and I have to say I haven’t seen that theme before, a great choice for showcasing art :).

I too create art just for the love of it and I am learning and experimenting with new ideas all the time. I see you love mirror images….they are fascinating and I love the colours. Keep up the great work I look forward to seeing more of it.

Have a wonderful glass of red wine for me….

Your spirit paintings are a really interesting idea. I too love to play with my photos. Good luck with your concept.

    September 21, 2013at 1:30 am

Thank you Lynne, I appreciate that. It’s interesting how they develop from a photo, I really do just follow what my intuition guides me to do. That’s what I love about art 🙂

Every photo I take now is like a blank canvas to explore and see what I can develop. I love it.
