Pennie McCracken, Photographic Artist and Designer

My name is Pennie and I live in St. Thomas, Ontario and I want to welcome you to Endless Skys. I am delighted that you are here and I hope you find something of interest. New artwork, designs and products are added regularly.

I worked in sales and training for over 25 years, but finally gave up the corporate life on April 12, 2013 to focus on my passion and more creative side. I love to write and photograph life in all its forms and I enjoy making videos. Plus, with today’s technology I am a self-taught professional photographic artist and designer.

I still love to teach and about ten years ago, through life circumstances, I began my spiritual journey with the understanding that we all have a purpose. We are all unique and are loved and supported by a higher realm, if we choose to be open to it. I love to travel and I have a gypsy spirit and I believe my purpose in life is to help people in any way that I can.

I don’t like to be “shoe-boxed” into one area of life, so if you feel that any of my knowledge, skills and life experiences could be of value to you, I am happy to help. I am very easy-going and do have a great sense of humour (even though I say so myself) and relate easily to people of all ages. Raising a family as a single parent and surviving the teenage years has a lot to do with that.

I have been around the block a few times, good, bad and downright ugly, so I honestly do have a real appreciation and understanding for the unexpected things that life can throw your way. Even if you only need someone to talk to, you will find I am a good listener.

As I mentioned I like to take photographs, make videos and create photo art, plus I enjoy bringing historic work back to life. I write about anything that is or has been part of my life, if I feel it is interesting or I’m passionate about it. My blog posts are more visual as I prefer to keep them light-hearted and fun, but I do also write fiction when the mood takes me!

If you find some of it interesting, personally resonate with it, or if you benefit from it in any way, that’s all I care about; even if it only puts a smile on your face. I share all sorts of information and hopefully you will find this site easy to navigate. There is a link to my Gallery as I do not post all my photos and artwork on here, so if you are interested in looking at my work, my images are for sale in all formats, i.e. canvas, acrylic, metal, framed, print and even as greeting cards.

To help make art affordable for everyone, I sell my artwork as digital downloads too, so you print and frame it yourself. Plus you are welcome to use it on personal websites and blogs too.

If you would like to contact me directly about any of the posts, or anything else for that matter, please don’t hesitate to do so as I really enjoy hearing from my readers.

Enjoy your day and I hope you will come back often.

Take care,

Bonjour Pennie

Wow! what a great blog – The whole look and feel of it is so Professional and beautifully composed – just like your pictures. My wife thinks its a better read and far more interesting than Vanity Fair. So l’ve saved a few euros there every month.

Nice name too

Bonjour Dan, how is life in France today? What a lovely thing to say, I truly thank you for your kind words. You blog is interesting too, great layout and I have to say I haven’t seen that theme before, a great choice for showcasing art :).

I too create art just for the love of it and I am learning and experimenting with new ideas all the time. I see you love mirror images….they are fascinating and I love the colours. Keep up the great work I look forward to seeing more of it.

Have a wonderful glass of red wine for me….

Your spirit paintings are a really interesting idea. I too love to play with my photos. Good luck with your concept.

    September 21, 2013at 1:30 am

Thank you Lynne, I appreciate that. It’s interesting how they develop from a photo, I really do just follow what my intuition guides me to do. That’s what I love about art 🙂

Every photo I take now is like a blank canvas to explore and see what I can develop. I love it.
