This deck is in a domino size (1.75″ x 3.5″) and consists of only the 22 Major Arcana. Easy to transport and use for quick readings, the energies of the day, or as strong clarifiers. Use them as you are guided.
I have created these cards in bold more defined colours which I call my ‘Felt Tip Pen’ design, but have kept that worn look of the lettering, outlines and background to honour the age of the original deck.
Created by Joseph Oswald Wirth in 1889, consisting only of the twenty-two Major Arcana, known as “Les 22 Arcanes du Tarot Kabbalistique”, it followed the designs of the Tarot de Marseille closely but introduced several alterations, incorporating extant occult symbolism into the cards. This deck is significant in the history of the tarot for being one of the influential, initiatory decks of tarot that defined the tarot decks of today.
