Dialogue – What Does an Image Say!

This week’s photo challenge is an interesting one, it is all about dialogue. When it comes to art/photography, dialogue can be perceived as a consensual interaction between two images. Placed next to each other, each photograph/artwork opens up to meanings that weren’t necessarily there when viewed alone. Each composition reveals the artists/photographer’s specific sensitivity to certain content or visual elements.

With the images above, when they are viewed alone the mask is all about masquerade balls, fun, colour and disguise. Whereas the face of the women on the right is indicative of contemplation, introspection and being lost in thought. When I view these images together as a union, I feel the dialogue says:

I am my authentic self, no longer wearing a mask for all the world to see. I am comfortable being me with no added colour or flavour as a disguise for who I really am.

Both these pieces of art are for sale in my gallery as:

Wall Art, Home Décor, Puzzle, Beach Items, Tote Bags, Greeting Card/Stationery, Phone Case, Coffee Mug, Face Mask and Apparel.

The image is adjustable, use all of it or just part of it. Every purchase comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
