Weekly Photo Challenge – Dialogue
This Week’s Photo challenge: When it comes to art/photography, dialogue can be perceived as a consensual interaction
between two images. Placed next to each other, each photograph/artwork opens up to meanings that weren’t there when viewed alone. Each composition reveals the artists/photographer’s specific sensitivity to certain content or visual elements.
When viewed alone the mask is all about masquerade balls, fun and noise and the face of the women is indicative of being deep in thought. When seen together I feel the dialogue says:
I am my authentic self, no longer wearing a mask for all the world to see. I am comfortable being me with no added colour or flavour as a disguise for who I really am.
